Bill's writing starts with critical reflection about his experiences and aims to ask bigger, better, and bolder questions. He grew up in the Chicago area and is the youngest of 10 siblings. His interests include architecture, travel, pop culture, social justice, advocacy for underrepresented groups. He identifies as gay and cisgender and uses he/him pronouns. Bill and his husband, Jonathon, live in Seattle, where they maintain an Instagram account for their 13 year old rat terrier, Stella.

Bill holds a BA in Religious Studies from Fairfield, an MTS in the Comparative Study of Religion from Harvard, and an EdM in Education Leadership from Columbia University. He's served as a teacher, campus minister, program leader, and administrator in independent schools and now maintains a consulting practice to design rituals, support educators, and facilitate dialogue and reflection.
